Agenda for coaches meeting

End of season issues; tournament brackets were set and are available on the web site for review. Tournament dates are 12/2 and 12/9 with games starting at 09:00. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 16:30. Our so called “floater players” do not play in tournaments.
Medals; it was decided to give all players T-shirts this season but only medals to teams/players qualifying for specific’s such as a “win”, a “highest score”, a “best goalie” etc.
Statistician needed for the position

Jersey’s; a motion was made by Cindy Clark that the league increase membership dues by $5.00/player (for a total of $30.00) which will be matched by the league with $5.00/player with funds received from the City. The extra $10.00 will be spent on buying a jersey for each player in U17 and under. Motion was 2^nd by David Rockstaw and passed.
Discussion was held on having a board member/official member present at all games. The member would be available to manage issues that may arise during the course of the day and be a resource for players, coaches, referees as well as any family or visitors to our games. This person/s would also be responsible for opening and closing the facility. A list of members will be circulated by Pat Coughlin for sign-up.
High School league;

Administration; discussion was held on electing a Director to oversee the HS league. Further discussion and selection of candidates needed.
Coaches; members interested in coaching a HS team may apply to the Board for an interview, must be 18 years old to apply. A standard background check will be administered.
During HS games a Board member will be present at the scoreboard

Registration; Spring registration will open early next year on 1/13/07 and close on 1/27/06. This will allow time to order the new jerseys. The Spring season will start on 2/17/07
