Spring 2005 Season
- Season
Dates: 02/18/2006-05/13/2006
- Spring
Break: No play on 03/18, play again on 3/25 (City no longer uses hockey
courts for Gus Macker)

registration day: 01/28/2006

registration open: 01/14/2006
- NOTE:
all FALL members will be automatically registered for Spring season. Fees and signatures are still required
on appropriate paperwork.
High School Season
- Season
Dates: 02/24/2006-05/05/2006, Playoffs week of 5/7. 9 week season/6 games per team)
- Teams:
same as last year-Onate, Mayfield, Las Cruces High
Schools.
Play will be 3-on-3, 9 players w/2 goalies.
- Each
game will consist of 3-20 minute periods.
If the game is tied after regulation play is complete then a 5
minute sudden death overtime period will be played. If still tied after the overtime, then
there will be a shootout. The HS
league will follow the USAHIL rules for shootouts.
- Tryouts:
Saturday, 1/14. MHS: 10-12, LCHS: 12-2,
OHS: 2-4
- Practice
times (same as last year): LCHS: Mon 6:30-8, OHS: Tues 8-9, MHS: Wed 8-9

Downey will contact radio stations to broadcast playoff games. He will also pursue donations to cover
the costs. (~$600/game)

Equipment Inventory

and Tony will be conducting an equipment inventory

R. has a high pressure hose that will be used to remove current paint
strips and “roughen” the smooth areas on the court

Ash has volunteered to repaint the strips on the court
Shop Vac

will price an industrial shop vac to be used to remove debris (not water)
from the court

for the shop vac have already been allocated (see minutes of 8/23)
Equipment purchase

C. will purchase up to $500 of new game balls

will purchase new Goalie gear after she does equipment inventory

may needsa new score board. Chris
and JP will determine if the problem is in the deep-cycle battery or
not. Chris will ask Meerscheidt if
they have another one. New scoreboards

Flores reported approx $12,000 in the LCIHA bank account

will price vapor lights for the court that can be mounted on the
basketball supports and run using extension cords.
